i make the cards in magic set editor then export the picture file of the card, then flip it in photoshop but its too big to fit on a card once i import it to photoshop, and if i resize it, it becomes distorted, any ideas on how to flip and resize without distortion?

same method to de-ink, just very annoying… gives me headaches…

by the way, does anyone know how to make it less fake looking? I got some transparencies but they are too thick and gives off a very visible glare… It looks so ugly and fake and shit.

@Burntoutglowstick in printing, use preferences and make a mirror image.

I’m having problems finding the proper dimensions, for when I print — it will fit on the card. I’m using Photoshop CS4. D; Any help?

zendikar and worldwake foils work the best. the hardest i pressed on the acetone-soaked cloth, the easier the ink came out. got mine done in about 20-30 seconds

does it have the same feeling as the real card? i mean the front part

  12. RoboJam says:

@Burntoutglowstick When using Photoshop, make sure you hold down the Shift button when re-sizing the image. It locks the image ratio so that both horizontal and vertical directions are changed simultaneously. Also make sure to resize it by dragging one of the corners of the image.

  18. MichaelHall1989 says:

Question: How did you get the pictures of the cards to print at the exact right size?

  20. starscream2236 says:

very cool, where do you get our card art from? thanks

  21. LareBearProductions says:

As odd as this may sound, there are other ways to take the ink off of foil cards. I discovered this by using a foil Yu-Gi-Oh! card that had paint sploges on it from when it was printed. Rather than using Acetone, I used toothpaste. That’s right, toothpaste. Arm & Hammer All in One Gel. The only thing is that it’s hard to keep inside the boarder sometimes.

  22. Hvalborg1 says:

oh damn i wanna do this :o just no idea how to get all the materials :>

  23. parkour86 says:

Does anyone know if this works with non-foil cards?

  24. shadowblade90222 says:

    @parkour86 It doesn’t work.
